Sweden’s Volvo Group says makes no decision to leave Russia

RYAZAN, Jul 5 (PRIME) -- Swedish car producer Volvo Group has not made a decision to leave the Russian market, a spokesperson for Volvo Group Trucks Russia told PRIME on Tuesday.

“Volvo Group company has not made a decision to leave the market,” the spokesperson said.

Volvo plans to adapt its operating activity to the changes of market conditions in Russia, and to lay off personnel until the end of 2022. The Russian office’s management is deciding on the amount of people it plans to fire, the spokesperson added.
